About Norwood Vineyard & Gardens
Norwood Vineyard & Gardens is a five-acre vineyard and garden event venue in Jonesboro, about 20 minutes south of Atlanta. The family hosts weddings, receptions, showers, birthdays, proposals and private dinners across an orchard lawn and a weatherproof 30'x60' Garden Room Pavilion with heating, cooling and string lights. Monthly wine tastings pour exclusively from Black-owned and minority-owned winemakers. The Farm Girl Market brings growers and makers to the lawn. Open April through December.
The land has been the Norwood family's homestead since 1950, first worked by grandparents Wilbert and Sarah. It was home, not a venue. Three siblings — Alicia, Devin and Erika — looked at five acres of muscadine vines, peach and pear trees and decided the place was too beautiful not to share. Erika started it. The vineyard grows grapes rather than making its own wine.
