Pea Soup Andersen's is a Buellton, California institution founded in 1924 by Danish immigrant Anton Andersen and his wife Juliette. Best known for its namesake pea soup, the restaurant served complete home-style meals alongside an attached bakery and gift shop for a century. The adjoining Pea Soup Andersen's Inn, independently owned and run by the Nielsen family since 1969, remains open on the property.
