About Place des Fêtes
A neighborhood wine bar and seasonal restaurant in Clinton Hill centered on natural wines from Spain and France, with particular depth in the Catalan regions and southwest France. The kitchen serves seasonal small plates and seafood-forward dishes sourced through relationships with farmers and fisheries, from Bangs Island mussels and sardine toast with smoked butter to hake with koshihikari rice and roasted poussin with romesco. The bottle list runs from Penedès sparkling and skin-contact whites to sherry and vin jaune, alongside cocktails, beer and cider. Groups can book a family-style chef's tasting menu at the back communal table, in the L'Escala private dining room, or through partial and full restaurant buyouts for up to 100 guests.
The restaurant comes from Redwood Hospitality, the team behind Cafe Mado, Laurel Bakery, Golden Ratio, and Oxalis.
