About Positive Vibes Jamaican Grill

Positive Vibes Jamaican Grill caters Jamaican food and runs a food truck across Maryland. The kitchen turns out jerk chicken, jerk pork, ribs, curry goat, oxtail, brown stew chicken and escovitch fish, plus sides like rice and peas, festival and fried plantains. Catering comes in per-person party packages with meat and side choices, half and full trays, and optional drinks, chafing dishes and setup. The truck also serves burgers and quesadillas.

Positive Vibes Jamaican Grill began in 2017, started by Shana Harris and her father, head chef Christopher "Buzza" Harris. Shana grew up surrounded by her father's cooking and wanted to share those flavors more widely. Demand grew, and the family launched the food truck in 2021. Chris has passed his skills to his children, and the family-run business now blends traditional Jamaican recipes with fusion dishes.
