About Positive Vibes Ronjanae Smith Inc.

Positive Vibes Ronjanae Smith Inc. is a North Charleston, South Carolina nonprofit committed to preventing violence and mentoring young people. Founded by community leader and trained violence interrupter Ronald Smith, it runs mentorship services, community giveaways and an MLK Icon Award, and offers ways to volunteer or become a mentee. The organization honors Ronjanae Smith, whose death to gun violence inspired its work.

After overcoming a difficult past and celebrating more than 14 years of freedom, Ronald Smith dedicated life to showing others that mistakes do not have to determine the future. After losing 14-year-old daughter Ronjanae Smith to gun violence, Ronald founded Positive Vibes to prevent violence and mentor youth.
