About PrimoHoagies
Italian specialty hoagies made to order with Thumann's gourmet meats, locally sourced vegetables chopped daily, and seeded bread baked fresh every two hours. Catering covers hoagie trays sized to feed 5 to 25 people, Italian, pepperoni and cheese, or cheese sampler platters, and cookie platters in five varieties, available for pickup or delivery. This Northeast Philadelphia location is owned by Patrick Gorham and offers online ordering along with the Primo Perks rewards program.
The first PrimoHoagies opened in South Philadelphia in 1992, in a neighborhood with sandwich shops on every corner, with the aim of building a hoagie that stood apart through ingredient quality. The brand marked its 30th anniversary in 2022 and had grown to 126 stores by 2025, expanding beyond the East Coast into Texas, the Carolinas, Colorado, and upstate New York. Nicholas Papanier Jr. became owner, president, and CEO in 2019, and the company remains family-owned and privately operated.
