Robert G. Neal Jr. ("Bobby") graduated from West Sabine High School, studied finance and accounting at Stephen F. Austin State University, and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence with honors from South Texas College of Law. He practiced with firms in Houston and Lufkin before returning to Hemphill in 1996, and the firm describes more than 30 years serving East Texas. His son, Robert G. Neal III ("Trey"), grew up in Hemphill, earned a finance degree from Stephen F. Austin and a law degree from St. Mary's School of Law, worked at San Antonio firms, and served as an Assistant District Attorney in Orange County, Texas before joining the practice.
