About Rye'tious Nails
A waterless, medical-grade nail studio focused on foot health rather than cosmetic salon work, with services staged by severity for conditions like diabetic feet, fungal and thickened nails, heavy callusing, and nail trauma. Offerings include medical pedicures and manicures, prosthetic toenail restoration, toenail bracing for pain relief, Hema- and TPO-free polish, and multi-visit Rye'te Track care packages. Appointments take place one-on-one in a private, aseptic suite with hospital-grade disinfection, and HSA/FSA payment is accepted with a podiatrist's letter, arranged through partner podiatrists in Michigan and beyond. Limited mobile visits serve homebound, elderly, medically complex, and athletic clients, and coaching sessions are available for nail techs and podiatry practices adding medical nail care.
The business grew out of Sarai Quinice's childhood in Southwest Philadelphia, where she received a nail kit as a Christmas gift in 2009 and began doing neighbors' nails on her grandmother's porch. Her first waterless pedicure was for Ms. Ann, an 86-year-old neighbor, done on the floor of her living room for $10. That experience led Quinice to pursue certification as a Medical Nail Technician; the site describes her as the first, youngest, and Black leading Medical Nail Technician in Pennsylvania. She now also brings waterless medical pedicures into nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living communities.
