Salon Philosophie is a full-service hair, skin, and nail salon in Vacaville offering cuts, color, perms, treatments, and bridal services for men, women, and children. As a Level 1 Inspired Deva Stylist location, the salon specializes in DevaCut services for curly hair and caters to all ethnicities, skin tones, and hair textures, cultivating a welcoming, social salon atmosphere.
Sophia Royal, who is half Asian and African-American, was inspired to become a hairstylist because her textured hair was hard to manage. She enrolled in cosmetology school at 16 and was licensed at 18. Mentored for over a decade by master cutter Masaki Inoue, she opened Salon Philosophie in 2009 and has taught stylists for 15 years.
