The firm traces its roots to Glenn Seeley (1926-2021), who opened a solo practice in Avon Lake, Ohio in 1957 and moved to Cleveland in 1968 in partnership with a business lawyer. That partnership led to the hiring of Gregory Seeley (1947-2023) and litigator Keith Savidge, who became founding partners of the firm in 1978. Gary Ebert, a long-time city Law Director, joined in 1991, bringing public law, land use, and probate experience. In May 2007, Daniel Gourash and Robert Anderle joined with a commercial, complex litigation, and insurance practice, and the firm took its current name.
