Event planning and design across weddings and social events, working to one stated goal: to produce and design creative, unforgettable experiences for every occasion. Weddings come in three tiers — Full Planning for couples with no time to research venues and vendors, Partial Planning, and Day Of Coordination — covering traditional and non-traditional ceremonies, elopements, vow renewals and commitment ceremonies. On the social side there is event planning and event management for adult birthdays, dinner parties, bridal and baby showers, plus a newer Luxury Picnics package. Design and decor is offered on its own for clients who need help turning an idea into a look: in-house decor combined with preferred vendors, worked in Luxury, Rustic, Glam, Boho or custom styles. The portfolio runs from balloon installations and milestone birthday builds to full tablescapes, carnival-themed children’s parties and church-porch weddings. Shirley works with the client’s budget in mind from first concept through to the event itself — as the site puts it, S.H.E. is a fan of uncompromising brides, understated budgets and unbelievably beautiful weddings. Shirley Harvey Experience began right after Shirley B. Harvey planned and designed her own 2017 wedding — "The Harvey Ever After" — and realised she wanted to keep doing it. She holds a business degree from Fayetteville State and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University, and still works by day as a business manager in a practice specialising in early intervention for children; SHE is where the creative side goes. She has worked with clients from many different backgrounds, tailoring each event to what that particular client actually wants, and says she loves taking care of people and thrives on making a client’s dream event real.
