A specialty coffee roastery and cafe, with the Glen Cove location housing the roastery. Single origin coffees rotate on espresso and batch brew, alongside blends such as Sure Shot espresso, a cold brew blend and a Costa Rican decaf, plus brewing gear like Hario V60 drippers and Chemex filters. Beans are sold by the bag, by subscription and wholesale, and orders ship within a week of the weekly roast schedule. Cafe menu items are hand-prepared with vegan and gluten-free options, and freshly baked pastries are delivered to every location daily. Catering is also available.

Mark Boccard started Southdown Coffee in 2014, bringing specialty coffee to cafes across Long Island. The roasting work drew national attention at the 2019 US Coffee Roasters Championship, and Food & Wine named the business among the Best Coffee Shops in America. In 2020 the company became employee-owned. It sources through importers and growers it describes as sharing its ethical and sustainability standards, and now operates locations in Glen Cove, Oyster Bay, Huntington, Northport, Port Jefferson, Patchogue and Point Lookout, along with Otherside Wine Bar in Glen Cove.
