About Stewarts' Cheesecakes

Cheesecakes made in traditional, gluten-free, vegan gluten-free, and no-sugar-added versions, so guests with different dietary needs can eat the same dessert. Catering is available for birthdays, weddings, corporate events, showers, and smaller gatherings, along with gift cards and walk-in shop hours. Cameron Stewart develops and bakes the cheesecakes while Susan Stewart handles events, deliveries, store stocking, demos, and the business side. The couple also partners with food trucks and restaurants and is a member of the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce.

Cameron and Susan Stewart III, married since 2016, turned a cheesecake hobby into a business in June 2019 so they could spend more time working together. Cameron grew up around family cooks \u2014 a caterer grandmother, restaurant-owning uncle and aunt, and a father known for his cheesecake \u2014 but joined the Air Force and worked as a mechanic for 30 years; when his father refused to share the recipe, he spent years developing his own. Susan became vegan in 2016 and insisted the company offer a vegan cheesecake, which later became vegan gluten-free, with gluten-free options added as well. Cameron retired in 2021 and Susan, after 30 years in early childhood education, retired in 2022, both to work on the business full time.
