Bakery, Grocery store in Cincinnati, OH
Gourmet stuffed cookies made from scratch in a Southern baking tradition, sold by the batch and in four-packs for shipping. The lineup ranges from traditional flavors to nuttier variations, all described as 100% homemade. The company has been featured in ESSENCE Magazine's roundup of Black bakers and winemakers and in Drew Barrymore's 2021 holiday magazine.
The company traces its recipes through five generations of women in one family, beginning with Clara, known for biscuits she made without measuring. Founder Tiffany's great-grandmother Fannie Mae cooked on a Kentucky farm where the family grew ingredients and raised animals, and was known for adding Kentucky bourbon to her dishes. Tiffany grew up making griddle cakes with her grandparents and watching her grandmother Linda and mother Melissa bake Southern desserts, and built the business around preserving those recipes.
