About The Black Bourbon Guy
The Black Bourbon Guy runs whiskey tastings, cocktail classes and beverage consulting. Private guided tastings explain the differences between bourbon, rye and scotch, and help guests work out what they like. Interactive cocktail classes let groups shake, stir and sip their own drinks, in person or virtually. Consulting work covers recipes for distilleries, cocktail lists for new restaurants and staff education for venues. Events are built for birthdays, holidays and corporate functions.
Che grew up in Brooklyn and has lived in Durham, North Carolina for more than 18 years. He spent almost two decades working in restaurants with some of the most advanced beverage programs in the state, studying the history and process behind each brand and bottle. He started The Black Bourbon Guy to bring the joy of creating memorable drink experiences to a wider community.
