About The Iliad Bookshop

The Iliad Bookshop is a large independent used bookstore in North Hollywood, founded in 1987 by owner Dan Weinstein and named after Homer's epic in tribute to a neighboring video store called The Odyssey. The shop stocks over 125,000 used, new, and rare books with an emphasis on literature and the arts, alongside free parking and comfortable seating. It is one of the largest and oldest bookstores in Southern California.
