Founded in 2011, Tim the Girl Catering was led for more than a decade by Chef Tim McDiarmid, a James Beard Fellow and Food Network Chopped competitor. She has passed the business to her longtime mentee, Chef Adesuwa Elaiho, who trained at Le Cordon Bleu Paris as a chef and sommelier and has been featured in The New York Times, Southern Living, Food Network, Woman's World, and Magnolia & Moonshine. Under Elaiho's leadership the company has become The Curated Plate, part of the Asukar family of brands.
