Legal services in Hurstbourne, KY
A Louisville law firm focused on estate planning, long-term care planning and asset protection, crisis care planning with patient advocacy, and probate administration. Consultations to discuss planning concerns are offered at no charge, and the firm schedules appointments outside traditional business hours for clients who cannot meet during the workday. Services are built around each family's particular circumstances, including guidance on legal, financial, and medical decision-making during a health crisis.
Attorney Michelle Tupper Butler founded the firm after her father, theologian and professor Dr. E. Frank Tupper, was left a quadriplegic following a fall at home. With no plan in place, she took on his care and advocacy while managing his finances and balancing her legal career and two young children. Moving from a long career as a litigator, she opened Tupper Butler Law to help other families prepare before a crisis. Her father died in late February 2020, and she credits the plan he had put in place with allowing the family peace in his final days.
