About Unity Hair & Nail Salon

Unity Hair & Nail Salon and Spa serves Eastern North Carolina from Nashville, with a second location in Tarboro. Stylists work with all hair textures, offering press and curls, silk presses, relaxers, coloring, natural and protective styling, and scalp treatments. The nail spa handles manicures, deluxe pedicures and Gel-X. Estheticians provide facials, body treatments and waxing. Guests get complimentary wine, wifi and a family-friendly atmosphere. Spa parties are available.

Tammy Woodard and Angela Dawes opened "T & A's Beauty Salon" on April 4th, 1994, named for their initials. After four years the two decided to pursue separate businesses. Angela stayed at the same location and rebuilt the image, services and mission, renaming it "Unity" in 1999 after Psalm 133:1. Unity has since added locations to the Nashville headquarters.
