Taco restaurant in Los Angeles, CA
Signature handmade blue-corn tacos served across three Los Angeles locations, two in Highland Park and one in Grand Central Market. The third location on North Figueroa expands the menu with a Baja-inspired seafood concept, including fresh fish, shrimp, and mesquite-grilled tacos and other grilled specialties. The restaurant also makes its own fresh cheese and sells a line of branded apparel and accessories including tees, caps, bandanas, and bags.
Villa's began in 2018 as a front yard pop-up at Chef Victor Villa's grandmother's home in Highland Park. It won L.A. Taco Madness in 2021 and became the competition's only three-time champion in 2022, then opened its first brick-and-mortar location in February 2023 and earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand later that year, beginning a three-year run of Michelin Guide recognition. Victor Villa appeared on Netflix's Taco Chronicles: Cross the Border in 2023 and joined Bad Bunny during the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show in February 2026. A third location with a seafood concept opened in March 2025, with further locations planned in South Pasadena, Atwater, Hollywood, and Las Vegas.
