About Work Turbochargers
Sells and builds high-performance turbochargers, including BorgWarner S200/S300/S400, Garrett G, GT, GTX and G-X Race series, and Xona Rotor units. Vehicle-specific upgrade kits are a focus, with in-house TA, TE and G4S series turbos for the 1984-87 Buick Grand National plus applications for Nissan 280ZX, 300ZX and SR20DET, Toyota 1JZ/2JZ/3S-GTE/7M-GTE and Land Cruiser diesels, Duramax and Powerstroke trucks, GMC Syclone/Typhoon and CAT 3406. Also carries TiAL wastegates and blow-off valves, boost controllers, oil and fuel pressure regulators, CP4-to-DCR kits, turbine housings, flanges and mounts, and offers turbocharger rebuilds through a submitted rebuild form.
Owner and head turbocharger specialist Reed Patridge became a turbo enthusiast after buying a Buick Grand National in 1994 and has worked in the high-performance turbocharger market since 1998. The shop is run as a small team alongside his wife Julie and technician Trae, with Reed personally handling customers from the initial discussion of goals through assembly and track-side follow-up questions.
