About Your Faith Farms
Your Faith Farms is a family farm of about 31 acres in the South Fulton / Fairburn area southwest of Atlanta, run by Patrick and Ishtar Muhammad and their children. The farm raises grass-fed cattle, with about 40 head as of 2025, along with hundreds of sheep and goats and a variety of crops. Its grass-fed beef, lamb and goat have been sold online and at farmers markets, and in 2025 the farm reported running two farmers markets and a 50-share community supported agriculture program. The farm also offers horse trail rides and riding lessons, which can be booked by phone at (678) 951-9445, along with horse boarding and educational field trips for school groups. Its website sells Your Faith Farms apparel, a coloring book and other merchandise. Patrick Muhammad shares farming lessons through his 'Principal Farmer' YouTube channel.
Patrick Muhammad began looking at farmland after studying generational wealth at his father's urging. With help from mentor Wayne Swanson of Hampton, GA, he bought eight cows, and about seven months later the family bought a 31-acre farm with two residences and no prior farming experience. The site dates the purchase to 2014, while an older Fulton Neighbor article says 2012. They named it Your Faith Farms because, as Muhammad put it, 'this farming is really a leap of faith.'
