Yucaipa Valley Animal Placement Society (YAPS) is a no-kill animal rescue nonprofit founded in 1957 by Betty Martines to prevent the euthanasia of homeless dogs and cats in the region. Based at 11937 13th St in Yucaipa, the organization provides adoptions, free vaccine clinics, spay/neuter vouchers, and low-cost microchipping. YAPS also hosts educational events and welcomes volunteers of all ages.
