About Z Salon & Spa
A full-service Aveda salon and spa offering haircuts and styling, custom color work including balayage, lived-in color, gray coverage, fashion colors and color correction, plus facials, body treatments, massage, waxing, makeup and other beauty services. Under what the salon calls the Z Method, stylists specialize in either the Design Floor or the Color Studio, so cutting and color are handled by dedicated technicians, and every visit begins with a consultation. Spa staff include estheticians focused on acne, congested, dry and aging skin, and massage therapists trained in deep tissue and neuromuscular therapy, Ashiatsu, stone massage, reflexology, prenatal massage and aromatherapy, along with Thai massage. Gift cards, bridal and special-event styling, and Aveda retail products are also available.
The team includes staff with long tenures at the salon, among them a guest care member who joined in 1991, a massage therapist and trainer who started in 2001, a colorist marking 15 years, and a guest services director with 16 years there. Lori TerBeek serves as Artistic Director and Co-Owner, with training from the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, The London Hair Academy, the Aveda Institute, Pivot Point and Martin Parsons. The stated mission is to take care of guests, each other, and the surrounding community.
