About Boozie Baked

Boozie Bakes calls itself the home of the wine-infused cupcake, and the description is literal. Founder Angel Louis makes signature cocktails, then squeezes her own artisanal cocktail shooters into uniquely flavored cupcakes. She styles herself CEO and Head Boozie Baker, and the business came out of running both passions at once — baking and cocktail-making. In her own words, the reward is watching someone's eyes widen at a first bite. The bakery works out of Wake Forest and serves the wider Raleigh–Durham area. It is pre-order and pickup only rather than a walk-in counter, and fresh mini drops land on Fridays, sold as four-packs of mini cupcakes in mixed flavors. Ordering runs through the website, and gift cards are available. Boozie also caters and takes its trailer out to events, which can be booked directly through the site. Shipping is offered, and the bakery is upfront about the constraint behind it: the cupcakes have to be secured and kept cool in transit, so packaging is charged accordingly, and anything that arrives wrong should be emailed to them directly. Pickup hours run Tuesday and Wednesday from 11am to 8pm, and Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 9pm.
