About Braly's Barber Den
A walk-in, first-come-first-served barbershop offering regular and specialty cuts, bald fades, senior and buzz cuts, straight razor shaves, beard trims, and line-ups. Owner Shawn Braly has experience with children and clients on the Autism Spectrum and works to keep the shop sensory-friendly, suggesting weekday visits for sensory cuts and offering house calls for anyone unable to manage the flight of stairs down to the shop. The shop also sells its own product line, Braly's Provisions, available in-shop, at the Green Bee in downtown Goshen, and online.
Shawn Braly, the owner and operator, grew up on a small cattle ranch in California and was active in 4-H and FFA before moving to Colorado in 2002 and enlisting in the Marine Corps in 2009. He began cutting his own hair to save money during his service and went on to cut fellow Marines' hair. After four years at the Department of Homeland Security in Denver, he enrolled in barber school at Emily Griffith Technical College and worked at traditional shops in Colorado and Indiana. He moved to Goshen with his wife and two daughters in January 2022.
