About Caney Creek Ranch

Caney Creek Ranch is a family cattle ranch of about 2,500 acres in Oakwood, in East Texas, run by Wesley Ratcliff and his daughter Kimberly. The ranch raises the cattle behind Ratcliff Premium Meats, its ranch-direct beef business, and has also raised registered Charbray bulls and sold bulls, semen and embryos.

Wesley Ratcliff bought the ranch's first parcel in 1973, and he and his wife Marie built Caney Creek Ranch into a diversified operation. The ranch expanded in 2002. Their daughter Kimberly left a branding job in New York and returned in 2007 to manage the ranch.
