About Charleston Area Urban League

The Charleston Area Urban League works to ensure access to opportunities that advance social and economic equality for Black people and other marginalized communities. With more than three decades of service in Charleston, it runs programs in education, workforce development, fair housing and voter registration, plus a down payment assistance program for first-time homebuyers in partnership with the City of Charleston.
