Attorney Finesse G. Couch has practised and taught law in North Carolina for twenty-five years, working primarily in torts, contracts and mediation. She holds a JD from Duke University School of Law and NCCU School of Law, and a BA in Political Science, Cum Laude, from NC State. She served as Associate Dean of Finance and Administration at NCCU School of Law from 2018 to 2020, won Law Professor of the Year there three years running, and is a past president of both the Durham County Bar Association and Durham Orange Women Attorneys. She writes and publishes on public education reform and crime prevention, and speaks on those topics at seminars, conventions and churches across the country. Attorney C. Destine A. Couch practises in personal injury, workers' compensation, contract, traffic and criminal law. He has extensive bench and jury trial experience, gained privately and as a former Assistant District Attorney for Durham County, and holds a JD from North Carolina Central School of Law and a BS in Political Science from NC State. He chairs the Durham County Teen Court and Restitution Program Advisory Board, sits on the board of the Durham Expunction & Restoration (DEAR) Program, and volunteers through pro bono representation, youth mentoring and Habitat for Humanity.
