About HK Craft House

HK Craft House is a candle-making studio and gift shop inside Southern Lion at Carolina Place in Pineville. The studio hosts private candle-making parties for birthdays, girls' nights, family gatherings, team building, church groups, resident events and workplace and holiday celebrations. Groups of 1 to 15 can book a date and time online; parties of 16 or more submit a large-group inquiry so staffing and packages can be arranged. No experience is needed. Supplies, step-by-step guidance and aprons are provided, and finished candles usually go home at the end of the event. Some experiences are BYOB for guests 21 and over. Individual tickets are also sold for scheduled events such as Sip & Pour nights, seasonal workshops, girls' nights and couples events. The shop sells hand-poured Happy Kat Candles, luxury candles, home fragrance, self-care items and curated gifts, plus digital gift cards. Guests are asked to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early and park in the rear lot between Southern Lion and Dillard's.

HK Craft House grew out of Happy Kat Candles, founded by Kathy Fogle. What began as a passion for candle-making experiences expanded into a lifestyle brand covering fragrance, self-care and hands-on group experiences, with her candles carried in a Charlotte gift shop. The business now occupies Space 313 inside Southern Lion at Carolina Place mall in Pineville.
