About Made by DWC Resale Boutique
A resale boutique operated as part of MADE by Downtown Women's Center, stocking secondhand accessories, dresses, handbags, tops, jackets, pants, shoes, and skirts. It sits alongside MADE's other two businesses, a Home & Gift collection of hand-poured candles, soaps, bath products, journals, drinkware, and apparel, and a café. Purchases fund paid work, hands-on training, and skill-building workshops for women transitioning out of homelessness, and the shops also host candle-making workshops and pop-ups.
MADE by Downtown Women's Center is a social enterprise of the Downtown Women's Center, a Los Angeles organization that works to end homelessness through safe housing and services focused on wellness, employment, and advocacy. MADE was built to give women transitioning out of homelessness paid experience in production, inventory, retail, and customer service across three businesses.
