About Muse 3 Farm
Muse 3 Farm is a family livestock farm in Greensburg, Louisiana, about 50 miles northeast of Baton Rouge. It raises cattle, sheep, goats and chickens on roughly 100 acres of pasture, with another 100 acres in timber. Meat is raised without antibiotics. The farm sells beef, lamb, eggs and hibiscus tea online, supplies local schools through Farm to School, and offers $10 educational tours.
Muse 3 Farm was established in 2015 by four of the seven Muse brothers, Allen, Burnell, Chris and Mittie, on land next to where they were raised. After 35-plus years in careers at the USDA, General Motors and IBM, they returned home, bought about 200 acres and started an Angus cow-calf operation, later adding goats, lambs and chickens. The farm works with LSU AgCenter and Southern University.
