Beauty product supplier, Cosmetics & Beauty Supply, Health and beauty shop in Murfreesboro, NC
Small-batch organic body care, handmade in Murfreesboro since 1998. Body oils come in twelve scents on a jojoba and sweet almond base, infused with calendula and chamomile, scented from natural extracts rather than synthetic fragrance, and bottled in recyclable glass — no silicones, and formulated for sensitive skin. Shea butter is sold both raw and unrefined and whipped in five scents. The soaps are triple-milled for a dense lather, scented with essential oils and cured for six weeks so the bar hardens and lasts, and the range includes yoni, organic, turmeric and raw African black soap. Beyond that: sugar and salt body scrubs in five botanical blends, cold-pressed Honduran batana oil for scalp and hair, and hair pomade in six blends. The line extends into fluoride-free toothpaste — calcium carbonate and baking soda with peppermint and tea tree, no artificial dyes, recyclable tube — and a natural deodorant using arrowroot and magnesium with shea and coconut, free of aluminium and parabens. Retail from the shop at 911 East Main Street or online with PayPal checkout, and wholesale through Faire.
R and M Body Oils LLC has been family-owned in Murfreesboro, North Carolina since 1998, run by Maurice Fentress from 911 East Main Street. The proposition has not changed in that time: cold-press and infuse in small batches, by hand, without silicones or synthetic fragrance, and let the ingredient list stay short enough to read. Soaps are still cured for six weeks before they leave. What has grown is the range — from oils and shea butter out into scrubs, pomade, batana oil, fluoride-free oral care and aluminium-free deodorant — and the reach, with a wholesale line on Faire alongside the shop counter and the website. The phrase on the site sums up the intent: "Ritual is repetition with intention."
