Founder Andrew Covington began as a recording artist, and it was that world — the contracts, the negotiations, the business of music — that pulled him toward the law. He went on to Elon University School of Law, completing its accelerated 2.5-year program, and is now licensed in both North Carolina and Washington, D.C. The firm he built runs out of 918 New Bern Avenue in Raleigh, with a second office in the Georgetown area of D.C. That origin still shapes the practice. Entertainment law is a genuine specialty here — recording and distribution agreements, negotiations, the contract work an artist actually needs — and it sits alongside trademark and copyright protection, which is the natural next step for creators and brands guarding their work.
