About The Pretty Mane & Company Salon
The Pretty Mane & Company is a full-service hair and wax spa at 6104 Westgate Road, Suite 107 in Raleigh — the salon moved there, so older listings may still show a previous address. It serves clients across the Triangle: Raleigh, Durham, RTP, Morrisville, Knightdale, Cary, Wake Forest, Six Forks, Creedmoor, Apex, Garner and Henderson. Appointments are required and booked through Vagaro. Extensions are the deepest part of the menu — partial, leave-out, full, closure and frontal sew-ins plus maintenance, quick weaves, keratin extensions, NBR (No Braid Required), tape-in, micro-link and micro-bead fusion — alongside hand-made custom units and wigs, which need a consultation and a $100 deposit to begin. Natural hair and braiding covers silk press, natural blowouts, twist outs, feed-in braids, crochets, box braids, corn rows, invisible ponytails, passion braids and loc retwists or starts. Colour is treated as its own craft: highlights, partial highlights, balayage, semi-permanent and permanent colour, and corrective colouring by consultation — first-time colour clients must do a colour consultation before booking. Straightening runs from a virgin relaxer and relaxer retouch to the Original Brazilian Blowout and the GK keratin treatment, and the treatment menu includes protein treatments, Brazilian B3 Bond Builder, Olaplex and deep-conditioning scalp work. The salon’s stated mission is customised service, strengthening its hair designers’ skills, and contributing to the community — it is active in educational and philanthropic events across the Triangle. Hours are Tuesday to Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday 8am–4pm; closed Sunday and Monday. It is also currently looking for booth renters.
