About The Pudding Man

The Pudding Man is a Black-Owned dessert shop inside Boxyard RTP in Durham, North Carolina, serving handcrafted banana pudding reimagined with bold flavors. Cups come in three sizes and rotate through Classic Banana, Strawberry Shortcake, Lemon Blueberry, Pineapple, Peach Cobbler, Cookie on Cookie, Oreo and Golden Oreo, with seasonal specials and signature lemonades. Order at the counter, on DoorDash, or book catering and ice cream cakes for parties.

Fabian Hall started The Pudding Man as a pop-up in 2022, selling cups on Sunday and Monday afternoons and building a following one flavor at a time. His wife Tacoya worked the business alongside him. In 2026 the couple took the leap into a storefront at Boxyard RTP, with a soft opening in September and a grand opening ribbon cutting set for October 2, 2026, with free pudding for the first 25 customers.
