About Chicago's Jerk Tacos

Chicago Tacos Jerk Express serves Caribbean-style jerk food with an American twist in Louisville. The counter sits inside the Norton Sports and Learning Complex. Jerk chicken tacos, nachos, jerk alfredo and honey BBQ wings make up the short menu, with steak and vegetarian versions of most dishes. Walking tacos are offered for quick eating. Catering is available, and orders can be placed by phone.

Owner and executive chef Aaron Williams learned Caribbean cooking techniques from his mother and grandmother. After 10 years in the restaurant industry, he put his own spin on traditional recipes, calling the results two generations in the making.
