Farm, Farmstay, Organic farm in GA
Upendo Estates Farm is a private regenerative farm and homestead outside Atlanta, Georgia, founded by Karee Upendo after her family moved from Wisconsin. The farm keeps free-range hens, alpacas, ducks, bees and a monarch waystation, and sells alpaca-manure fertilizer called Magic Beans on Etsy. Guests can book off-grid treehouse stays through Airbnb or take beekeeping courses. Visits are by appointment only.
The farm began as a healing journey after grief and loss. Karee Upendo, a former educator and fashion designer, moved about 900 miles from Wisconsin to Georgia to build a self-sustaining life and teach her children and community self-reliance. Today it is also the birthplace of Fluffy Butt Hut and the headquarters of Baddie Farmer.
