Store hours run Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 7pm and Sunday from noon to 5pm. Warren, Cheryl and Allyce Lee founded the brand in 2017. The concept grew out of Cheryl Lee's master's thesis on the plight of independent bookstores and a strategy for their success. The first store opened in Little Five Points. The current location was designed and built to their blueprint as a sanctuary of Black literature, history and culture.
