It shares that suite, and its phone line — 833.404.HAIR — with Texture Salon, and operates as the salon's retail counterpart. The store carries products and accessories for textured natural hair. That is the salon's whole specialism next door: Texture Salon works in natural hair care, colour, cuts, braiding and extensions, and runs an in-house training programme, the Texture Academy, to keep its stylists current in the natural hair industry. Angela Williams owns Texture Salon and founded the Academy. She has said she wanted a salon culture unlike any other in Atlanta, one built to help people express their natural beauty, and that educating guests comes ahead of everything else.
