Law firm, Criminal justice attorney, Divorce lawyer in Youngsville, NC
The Law Office of Reatter E. Neal, PLLC serves Franklin County and the surrounding counties across several areas of law. It is a small, client-focused practice: Attorney Neal keeps an open line of communication with every client and gives straight legal advice so people can make informed decisions rather than be carried along by a process they do not understand. Criminal defence is the core of the work — traffic offences, DWI, misdemeanours and felonies — and the firm’s emphasis is on explaining how criminal procedure actually works and laying out the options before a decision is made. Family law is handled with the same approach; Neal comes from a big family and says plainly that it is part of why she can relate. Estate planning covers simple wills and powers of attorney to get an estate in order, and she also handles driver’s licence restoration for people trying to get back on the road legally. The office is at 101 N Main Street, Louisburg, with mail to PO Box 670, Bunn, NC 27508. Because it is a small practice, arrangements should be made before coming by to make sure someone is in — communication otherwise runs by phone, text, email or in person. Phone (919) 514-8118, fax (919) 200-7113, email [email protected].
Reatter E. Neal founded the firm in 2021, the same year she graduated with honours from North Carolina Central University School of Law. The reason was local and specific: she was born and raised in Bunn, North Carolina, and saw that her own community did not have enough attorneys in it. Her route there ran through UNC Greensboro, where she took a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Spanish with honours, then straight into law school, where criminal law caught her. She interned at the Wake County Public Defender’s Office and in private practice, and what she took from it was an eye for where the justice system falls short — she describes wanting to be an agent of change rather than simply a practitioner within it. The firm serves Franklin County and its neighbours from Louisburg, deliberately client-focused and small enough that the attorney is the person you speak to. Her stated goal is not simply to win but to leave clients able to make informed decisions and understand the consequences of them.
